De Staten die Partij zijn bij het Noordatlantisch Verdrag, ondertekend Les Etats Parties au Traité de l'Atlantique Nord, signé à Washington

Artikel II Article II

Artikel VI Deze Overeenkomst kan door elke Partij worden opgezegd door middel van een schriftelijke kennisgeving aan de Regering van de Verenigde Staten van Amerika, die alle andere ondertekende Staten van deze kennisgeving mededeling doet. De opzegging wordt van kracht één jaar na ontvangst van de kennisgeving door de Regering van de Verenigde Staten van Amerika. Na het verstrijken van de periode van één jaar, treedt deze Overeenkomst buiten werking voor de Partij die ze heeft opgezegd, met uitzondering van de regeling van geschillen die vóór de datum van inwerkingtreding van de opzegging zijn ontstaan. Zij blijft evenwel van kracht voor de andere Partijen. Ten blijke waarvan de ondergetekenden, daartoe naar behoren gemachtigd door hun onderscheiden Regeringen, deze Overeenkomst hebben ondertekend. Article VI La présente Convention peut être dénoncée par toute Partie au moyen d'une notification écrite adressée au Gouvernement des Etats-Unis d'Amérique, qui informera tous les autres Etats signataires de cette notification. La dénonciation prendra effet un an après réception de la notification par le Gouvernement des Etats-Unis d'Amérique. Après l'expiration de ce délai d'un an, la présente Convention cessera d'être en vigueur pour la Partie qui l'aura dénoncée, exception faite du règlement des différends nés avant la date à laquelle la dénonciation prendra effet, mais elle restera en vigueur pour les autres Parties. En foi de quoi les soussignés, dûment autorisés à cet effet par leurs Gouvernements respectifs, ont signé la présente Convention.
