Elke regering verbindt zich ertoe te allen tijde en zonder formaliteiten de personen over te nemen, die zijn binnengekomen op vertoon van een door de Belgische, Luxemburgse, Nederlandse of Bahamaanse autoriteiten afgegeven geldig nationaal diplomatiek en officieel of dienstpaspoort. 8. 1. In deze Overeenkomst wordt verstaan : 1. Aux termes du présent accord, il faut entendre :
- onder de « Benelux-Staten » : het Koninkrijk België, het - par « les Etats du Benelux » : le Royaume de Belgique, le
Groothertogdom Luxemburg en het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden; grand-duché de Luxembourg et le Royaume des Pays-Bas;
- onder het « Benelux-gebied » : het gezamenlijke grondgebied in Europa van het Koninkrijk België, het Groothertogdom Luxemburg en het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden. 2. De onderdanen van het gemenebest van De Bahama's die houder zijn van een geldig nationaal diplomatiek en officieel of dienstpaspoort kunnen voor een verblijf van ten hoogste drie maanden het Benelux-gebied zonder visum binnenkomen op uitsluitend vertoon van dit paspoort. 3. De onderdanen van de Benelux-Staten die houder zijn van een geldig nationaal diplomatiek en officieel of dienstpaspoort kunnen voor een verblijf van ten hoogste drie maanden het grondgebied van het gemenebest van De Bahama's zonder visum binnenkomen op uitsluitend vertoon van dit paspoort. 4. Ik maak van deze gelegenheid gebruik om Uwe Excellentie de verzekering van mijn bijzondere hoogachting te hernieuwen.
