Door middel van vernieuwende en grensverleggende programmering wil het BNO een centrale plaats in het hart van de hedendaagse maatschappij veroveren. Gevestigd in Brussel, in het Paleis voor Schone Kunsten (BOZAR), wil het BNO samen met zijn 100-tal medewerkers de internationale uitstraling van zijn activiteiten versterken en bijdragen tot de positionering van Brussel als de hoofdstad van zowel België als Europa. Naar aanleiding van het einde contract van de huidige intendant, zijn wij momenteel op zoek naar een (m/v) Intendant/ Algemeen Directeur Functie * Als eindverantwoordelijke voor het artistieke, administratieve, financiële-en personeelsbeleid van de organisatie, ontwikkelt u een beleidsvisie op lange termijn voor het orkest. U vertaalt dit naar een concreet plan met prioriteiten en actiepunten * U bepaalt de strategie van de organisatie en geeft richting aan het inhoudelijk artistiek beleid. * U geeft leiding aan de organisatie en beheert het orkest in al zijn hoedanigheden. * U geeft mee richting aan de beslissingen van de Raad van Bestuur en garandeert de kwalitatieve uitvoering van de opdrachten van het orkest. * U vertegenwoordigt het orkest naar zowel interne als externe stakeholders en partners. * U bouwt een sterk netwerk uit in binnen- en buitenland. * U rapporteert en legt verantwoording af aan de Raad van Bestuur. Profiel * U genoot een master opleiding en hebt kennis van de klassieke muziekwereld, zowel qua dirigenten en solisten als repertoire. * U heeft een relevante algemene managementervaring opgebouwd en bent in staat de dagelijkse algemene leiding op u te nemen van deze middelgrote organisatie. * Als uitstekende People Manager combineert u een groot empathisch vermogen met een vlotte communicatievaardigheid. * U bent in staat mensen tot samenwerking te brengen en als sterke leider neemt u de beslissingen die noodzakelijk zijn. * U bezit een goede operationele drietaligheid in het Frans, Nederlands en Engels. Due to the current intendant's contract coming to an end, we are currently looking for a Intendant/General Manager Role * As the person responsible for the organisation's artistic, administrative, financial and staffing policies, you will develop a long-term policy vision for the orchestra. You will translate this into a concrete plan with priorities and action points. * You will establish the organisation's strategy and give direction to the substantive artistic policy. * You will lead the organisation and manage the orchestra in all of its capacities. * You will help to guide the decisions of the Board of Directors and ensure the quality of the execution of the orchestra's duties. * You will represent the orchestra towards both external and internal stakeholders and partners. * You will build a strong network both in Belgium and abroad. * You will report to and be accountable to the Board of Directors. Profile * You possess a master's degree and are familiar with the world of classical music, in terms of both conductors and soloists and repertoire. * You have relevant general management experience under your belt and are capable of taking on the general day-to-day running of this medium-sized organisation. * As an excellent People Manager, you possess a combination of a great capacity for empathy and fluent communication skills. * You are capable of getting people to work together and, as a strong leader, you make the necessary decisions. * You have operational proficiency in French, Dutch and English.
